I personally feel that selvedge denim looks better slightly looser with a wider leg opening which these jeans have. Like its younger brother, Banana Republic, Gap also offers tall sizes which is great for taller gents.
Thankfully Gap now offers jeans with their GapFlex technology which seems to be standard across all of their jeans. Black jeans actually look pretty good on my frame, but the leg opening is too wide and makes the jeans look awkward as they flare out a bit.
In addition to the many washes, they carry trendy distressed denim as well. Long gone are the days of jeans without stretch, they're entirely too uncomfortable now that we've gotten used to stretch.
